Ink Review #400: Diamine Flowers Pansy

Diamine Pansy is part of the Diamine Flowers Set, Cult Pens sells the bottles individually. The ink comes in 30ml bottles.

The color:

Pansy is a bright purple.

In large swabs there is a little bit of goldish-green sheen.

Writing samples:

Let's take a look at how the ink behaves on fountain pen friendly papers: Rhodia, Tomoe River, and Leuchtturm.

Dry time: 20 seconds

Water resistance: Low

Feathering: None

Show through: Medium

Bleeding: None

Other properties: low shadingmedium sheen, and no shimmer

On Staples 24 lb copy paper there was feathering and just a little bit of bleeding, mainly in the flex nib.

Longer writing:

I used a fine Jinhao Shark pen on Tomoe River paper. The ink had an average flow.

Overall, it's a nice ink. It's a pretty color, well behaved, and dries pretty quick too.
