Dry time:

The inks took 20-40 seconds to dry.

Water resistance: Low

Feathering: Low

Show through: Medium

Bleeding: Low

Other properties: Low shading, no sheen and no shimmer.

On Staples 24 lb copy paper there was lots of feathering in the larger nib sizes as well as a bit of bleeding.

Oxblood is a bit more brown than Diamine Oxblood. Red is similar to Diamine Tulip. Pink is close to Colorverse Girls Just Wanna. Orange is similar to Diamine Marigold, and Yellow is similar to Diamine Yellow.

I used a Bond Travel Gear Tomoe River paper notebook. All of the inks had an average flow.

Overall, they have a bit more feathering and bleeding than I prefer. You can find these inks on Thornton’s website or on Amazon.
