The Color:

Navy Blue Jeans is a deep denim blue that leans toward green.

In large swabs on Tomoe River paper the ink has less of a green undertone than it does on the Col-o-ring swab above.

Let's take a look at how the ink behaves on fountain pen friendly papers: Rhodia, Tomoe River, and Leuchtturm.

Dry time: 40 seconds

Water resistance: Medium

Other properties: medium shading, high copper sheen, and no shimmer.

On Walmart 20lb copy paper there was quite a bit of feathering and bleeding.

Longer writing:

I used a Pelikan M805 Vibrant Blue with a broad nib on a Taroko Breeze notebook. The ink had an average flow.

Overall, I love the color of this ink! It has just a bit of green in it as well as some pretty shading and sheen. I’m tempted to buy a full bottle of this one, I really enjoyed it.
