Writing samples:

Let's take a look at how the ink behaves on fountain pen friendly papers: Rhodia, Tomoe River, and Leuchtturm.

Dry time: 40 seconds

Water resistance: Low

Feathering: None

Show through: Medium

Bleeding: None

Other properties: medium shading, tiny sheen, and no shimmer. The sheen is only visible in large swabs on Tomoe River paper.

On Staples 24 lb copy paper there was feathering and bleeding in all nib sizes.

Longer writing:

I used a broad Pelikan M600 Turquoise on a Midori MD Notebook. The ink had an average to dry flow.

Overall, I love this color, but I have a lot of inks this color (since it’s my favorite) and I don’t think it’s different enough from what I already have to need a full bottle. It’s my favorite of the 3 Oysters inks so far.
