Writing samples:

Let's take a look at how the ink behaves on fountain pen friendly papers: Rhodia, Tomoe River, and Leuchtturm.

Dry time: 40 seconds

Water resistance: Low

Feathering: None

Show through: Medium

Bleeding: None

Other properties: medium shadinglow sheen, and silver shimmer

On Staples 24 lb copy paper there was some feathering and bleeding, so it's not one I would use on super cheap paper.

Comparison Swabs:

Ink swabs for comparison, left to right (top to bottom for mobile RSS): Diamine Arctic Blue, Robert Oster Blue Moon, and Robert Oster Silver Fire and Ice. Blue Moon is just a bit darker than Arctic Blue. Click here to see the Robert Oster inks together.

Lamy Pacific Blue, Montblanc Unicef, and Robert Oster Blue Water Ice. Click here to see the blue inks together. Blue Water Ice is the closest non-shimmer ink to Blue Moon.

Longer Writing:

I used a broad Pelikan M805 Ocean Swirl on Midori MD paper. The ink had an average flow. I didn't have any issues with clogging, but I did rotate the pen after every paragraph to keep the shimmer in suspension.

Overall, it's a great color and well behaved. I love Blue Water Ice, and Blue Moon feels like the shimmer version.
